| I rolled a sheet of puff pastry very thin and cut it into 1/4 inch strips. |
Pigs in Blankets are always a favorite. Even if you think they're boring, you have to admit they're delicious. I decided to make them with little smokies and puff pastry.
 |
| Loosely wrap the little smokies in pastry, pressing to keep it on the dog. |
 |
| Brush with milk. |
 |
| If you don't have a pastry brush, and you won't on vacation, | | | use a paper towel dipped in milk to get milk on the pastry. |
 |
| I wasn't on vacation for this one, but at a 2 year old's birthday party. I used little wooden forks for serving. |
This made about 48 Pigs in Pastry.
1 package Li'l Smokies
1 package frozen puff pastry
Mustard for dipping (or whatever you like)
More fun than regular hot dogs, and fun and festive by a pool. Adults will eat about 6, kids will probably eat 4.
