Pigs in Pastry

I rolled a sheet of puff pastry very thin and cut it into 1/4 inch strips.
Pigs in Blankets are always a favorite.  Even if you think they're boring, you have to admit they're delicious.  I decided to make them with little smokies and puff pastry.

Loosely wrap the little smokies in pastry, pressing to keep it on the dog.

Brush with milk.

If you don't have a pastry brush, and you won't on vacation,   use a paper towel dipped in milk to get milk on the pastry.

I wasn't on vacation for this one, but at a 2 year old's birthday party.  I used little wooden forks for serving.
This made about 48 Pigs in Pastry.

1 package Li'l Smokies
1 package frozen puff pastry
Mustard for dipping (or whatever you like)

More fun than regular hot dogs, and fun and festive by a pool.  Adults will eat about 6, kids will probably eat 4.
